Your path to well-being maps our road to success.
Our mission: to support, heal, and shepherd ministry leaders
for the glory of Christ and His church.
We are a network of ministries united under a common goal of supporting the well-being of pastors, missionaries, ministry leaders, and their families through safe, Biblically-founded care.
When challenges surface in the life of a church leader, it can be difficult—even demoralizing—to find caring, confidential support from gospel-driven partners.
That’s where we fit in.
Pastor Support Network focuses on the 6 essential components of Christian well-being:
Our specialists come alongside Christian leaders and their families with prayer, insight, and expertise—along with the utmost respect for confidentiality. Care might focus on
- Retreats and recovery for stress and burnout
- Protection and healing for marriages and families
- Handling conflict and its resolution
- Help for addiction, breakdown, tragedy, and trauma
- Shepherding exited pastors as they return to ministry
- And much more

Paul Damon CFP®, CLU, ChFC
Chairman of the Board
Paul has a heart for supporting and serving ministry leaders, as well as a heart for serving clients in the financial-services industry, which he has been doing for over 30 years as a comprehensive wealth advisor. Entering this industry with a large national firm and later starting his own company, Paul has earned the advanced degrees of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU). Care Team Coordinator
Shar Schroyer has been married to her best friend since 1982, raising 3 children and welcoming 2 grand babies into the world. She became a psychologist in 1985 and has experience in community mental health, hospitalization, foster care, adoption, neuro feedback, school psychology, bio feedback, and pain management. When she’s not serving people through her psychology work, Shar can be found living in the country with her Amish friends, where she and her husband are building their “barn” house. She spends her open-air days raising chickens, enjoying all things hunting, and honing her speciality in porch sitting.
Growing up in a pastor’s family, Jeff Greene has long had a heart to see ministry leaders cared for well. With this focus, Jeff helped start PSN and center its mission on supporting the strength and well-being of existing ministries—a response to God’s desire to see his body unified. Through several foundation initiatives, Jeff has increasingly begun to coach individuals in personal visioning and financial management, augmenting his established career in sales and business development with an array of strategic services. But he invests himself most in time with his extremely cool wife and 3 equally cool (and busy) kids.
Operations & Relationships Administrator
Having grown up in the church, raised by Godly parents and wonderful role models, Jaime loves the mission of PSN and feels grateful to be part of it. A GVSU graduate with a BA in political science, Jaime’s past jobs range from a US senate campaign to a physical therapy clinic. The common denominator: her heart for helping people. Born and raised in West Michigan, Jaime loves the outdoors, beach days, kayaking, biking, and Lake Michigan, which is 2 miles from the home she shares with her husband, daughter, and pup—“just a quick run away,” as seen from her perspective as an avid runner.
Missy has been with PSN since its founding, and her passion and desire is to see those in ministry fulfill God’s call on their lives in total freedom. As an ordained minister, she understands the stress and pitfalls that can come with ministry, and she knows that woundedness from our past – coupled with the worries and disappointments that ministry often brings – can have a devastating effect on ministers, missionaries, and families. Missy’s vision is to connect these individuals with the resources they need to fulfill their call, bringing fullness and healing that will equip them for even greater ministry.

Above and Beyond
PSN went above and beyond to help me get through a serious opiate addiction. They surrounded me with an amazing support team and directed me to an excellent counselor. Miracles began to happen as the team began to lead me away from my destructive ways and down a path with Christ at the center of my life. With the help of PSN, I am a year and a half clean, I have a relationship with God, and finally feel happy and fulfilled in life.

Turning Point in My Life
I learned that I am not a controller of my spouse and kids but can give them encouragement and confidence in themselves as I come alongside them. Carolyn and Chris really listened actively to me, affirming my sharing. From this I learned that my voice is important and I can speak truthfully in love, sharing my genuine opinions and feelings. Learning these things has been such a boost to me spiritually and as a spouse and parent. This week was definitely a positive turning point in my life. Prayer partners, I cannot tell you how grateful I am to you for lifting us up to the Lord in prayer!

This Is A New Beginning
I came to this retreat, broken, hurt and in despair. For many years I had been trying to fix my actions and behaviors, but failing every time. I was able to function as a pastor, ministering to many, caring for everyone else, but totally alone and sad inside. I have been driven by gods of performance, trying to see if by doing and achieving it would make me feel different, but it never did.
Coming here and going through a simple process, I could see the root of my pain and the ‘why’ of my actions. I know I have a long road before me, nevertheless, it becomes easier when you know what you are fighting.
I’m hoping and believing that this is a new beginning, a new way of life, and if God says OK for me to go back to pastor my home church, I will, with a new philosophy of life and ministry – caring for people’s hearts and let Jesus care for me.
