PIR Ministries…offering hope to ‘at-risk’ and exited pastors.
Studies indicate that 1,500 – 2,000 pastors are displaced from their church each month. Unlike being laid off or fired from most other positions, the exited pastor doesn’t have the church to fall back on for support. The church is the source of the disappointment, anger and pain that can plague the ex-pastor and his family. PIR Ministries (Pastor in Residence) exists to address this tough issue. PIR Ministries partners with God and the church to provide a proven process that can restore hope to at-risk and exited pastors.
PIR’s purpose is to encourage and support pastors in the vocational transitions of their lives. It provides a program called “Pastor in Residence”. This proven process helps exited pastors and their families find restoration and hope in a grace-centered church, typically for a period of six months to a year. The family is mentored through the transition process in a church setting with the help of a support group trained by PIR Ministries. The program addresses issues like isolation, bitterness, loss of passion for ministry, etc. It helps them consider the issues that led to their exit and evaluate their gifts and weaknesses. They examine God’s intent for using the exited experience for good in their lives, and have the opportunity to consider what their call to ministry might look like in the future.
Besides their ministry to exited pastors and their families, PIR is working to address the issues that can put pastor’s “at risk” through personal interaction and public presentations.

At Pastors R&R we understand the need for pastors to have the opportunity to rest and relax on a regular basis, so we encourage them to take time away from their work and devote two weeks per year to rejuvenate and reconnect with their families.
To help make this possible, our mission is to network with individuals and organizations to provide the use of host properties (e.g., vacation homes, condominiums, cottages, cabins, timeshares, etc.) for a private time where the pastor and their family have exclusive use of the guest home at a cost of $100/week and an $80 cleaning fee.

Walking alone in the midst of a trying time is both mentally and emotionally demanding. As ministry leaders, we are often the first to offer counsel and comfort to hurting hearts, but the last to receive it. Often times, the pain and stress from ministry spills over into our marriages, affecting the relationships with our spouses and children. Slowly, the realization that we have mismanaged the pieces of our lives begins to sink in, and the thought of reconstructing the wreckage is a daunting pipe-dream. Almost inevitably, the desire to quit becomes overwhelming.
We are here to tell you that you do not have to walk this journey alone. We know the anguish of despair, and we care about you. We don’t judge– that’s not our job. Helping you put the pieces of your life back together is. You should find the answers to most of your questions about who we are and what we do. If you have any questions that we haven’t covered, or if you would like to schedule an Intensive Counseling Session, please use our website to contact us. We’re happy to help.

Founded in July 2011 to develop and service programs and functions that offer encouragement and support to the clergy, their families, Christian organizations and their constituencies. It is also our intent to assist local churches in developing healthy, vibrant congregations through motivational events and group sessions with the local church staff.
It is our desire to:
- Build awareness in general society that pastors and their families are uniquely called and are to be respected and honored as God’s special servants.
- Help pastors recapture their dreams, re-evaluate their calls from God, and emerge with a sense of mission and fulfillment, regardless of the size of their churches or the amount of their paychecks.
- Assist pastors in setting their priorities — to put their families above anything else and to realize and acknowledge that God called them, not man.
Pastor Dick and Dee Sochacki
Barnabas Ministries exists to encourage and lift up others by undergirding them with prayer, training, and counsel. We also, have an ability to stand in support of these hurting people in difficult times, all the while remaining in the background. We see this as our call.
Our vision is to reach out and touch pastors and leaders who need encouragement under the pressures of their own ministry call. The Lord has us building a ‘relational’ foundation with others, meeting with and supporting ministry in our immediate area.
Henry and Diane Stewart
An ELIM Retreat is a six day gathering of Christian global workers for the purposes of debriefing, personal spiritual assessment/renewal, and pastoral care.
Following the Lord’s pattern stated above, the goal is to provide the time and occasion for God’s servants to move out of spiritual turmoil to recovery and strengthening in Christ’s rest. (Matthew 11:28-29)
